Trunk transparent; neck placids alternating in widths; MTS at least twice as long as LTS; LS of segment 3 (AT) longer than two first trunk segments together; DS on segments 3-13; LS on segments 4, 7, 10-11; MTS about 60% of TL.
Eastern Atlantic boreal species; also Mediterranean and Black Seas.
Abundant in phaseoline mud; subtidal, at 98-656 ft (30-200 m) deep.
